a Game to make you cry
November 30th, 2005
I’m never into games. The only game that I was once addicted to was Mario. I played it on GameBoy, and I think I played really well
(according to a 10 year-old standard).
Besides Mario, I never play another game for more than 2 hours (in total).
I once wanted to learn how to play King of Fighters on Neo Geo. I don’t know why, but I simply wanted to know how to make those cool moves and attacks. (Don’t you think it’s fun?!)
Therefore, I asked my brother to teach me, but he said King of Fighters would be too hard for me and he suggested me try some Street Fighters first.
The outcome? I suck. I’m not born to be a gamer.
I could barely made a Fireball (Hadouken) and rarely a Hurricane Kick (Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku ) . My favourite is Dragon Punch (Shouryuuken), but it’s too damn hard for me, and I could never make one.
Anyway, back to the topic: a game to make you cry.
It’s a new game called Cloud. You play a young boy who flies through the air above a small group of islands and you can move the cloud when you’re flying.
I tried it for a few minutes. I like the music and I like the drawing. The boy looks cute in pictures but NOT in the game. Well, I actaully had a hard time figuring out what keys on my keyboard I should use to make my moves on the screen. I used my mouse, and I didn’t see ME doing much in the game.
Anyway, you can download the game here if you’re interested.
For more details, go to Digg and an entertainment blog in Australia.
Wikipedia has an article about this game, and it says Cloud is inspired by Katamari Damacy, my favourite. =)
Which character in Street Fighters do you think I like?
Hints: Ryu
or Ken?
