- Open Firefox and go to the Address Bar. Type in about:config and then press Enter.
- Right Click in the page and select New -> Boolean.
- In the box that pops up enter config.trim_on_minimize. Press Enter.
- Now select True and then press Enter.
- Restart Firefox.
Note: This is by no means a REAL fix for the Firefox memory leak, but it does appear to help it quite a bit. What it does is move Firefox to your hard drive when you minimize it, and as a result it will take up less than 10MB of memory while minimized.

Found on listible when browsing through the list of web 2.0 products and services, “Peekko chat is a Firefox extension that allows you to chat with other people looking at the same web site(s) as you. It adds a toolbar to Firefox that shows how many people are in that page’s chat room and allows you to instantly connect with them.”
I think it’s fun, and I just installed this Firefox extention. Yay! Not sure how useful it is to me, though; probably I won’t use it very often; but it won’t hurt to try out new thing, right? Maybe I’ll bum into you on some porn sites. Lol … nah! Porn is not for me. I’m a good girl — beautiful and smart.
P.S.
Is Peekko a cousin of meebo? They have very similar names eh?! Both are cute names.
Chap talked about meebo long time ago on his blog. I saw him use it, and the interface is cute, I think.
