4 In The Morning

Gwen Stefani The Sweet Escape CD Cover

Gwen Stefani’s new album “Wind It Up” has been out for some time, but I wasn’t very interested in it though I really liked some of the songs from her last album “Love Angle Music Baby”. Guessed it was because the song “Wind It Up” didn’t quite fit my taste.

Anyway, I came across this really cool song “4 in the Morning” on my Shuffle tonight when I was studying, and I fell in love with it immediately. Check it out.

4 In The Morning

(Click here to listen to the song on YouTube)

Wakin up to find another day
The moon got lost again last night
But now the sun has finally had it’s say
I guess I feel alright

But it hurts when I think,
When I let it sink in
It’s all over me
I know you’re here, in the dark
I’m watchin you sleep, it hurts a lot

[Bridge]
And all I know is you’ve got to give me everything
And nothing as good,
You know I’d give you all of me

[Chorus]
I’d give you everything that I am
I’m handin over everything that I’ve got
Cause I wanna have a really true love
Don’t ever wanna have to go and give you up
Stay up till four in the morning
And the tears are pouring
And I wanna make it worth the fight
What have we been doing for all this time
Baby if we’re gonna do it come and do it right

All I wanted was to know and say
Don’t wanna lose the love I found
Remember when you said that you would change
Don’t let me down

It’s not fair, how you are
I can’t be complete, can you give me more

[Bridge]

[Chorus]

Oh please, you know what I need
Save all your lovin for me
We can’t escape the love
With everything that you have

[Bridge]

[Chorus]

Think Of Me

Think Of Me by Emmy Rossum

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXDonUxBxig]

Think Of Me by Sarah Brightman

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWm36HAgk8U]

Think of me
think of me fondly,
when we’ve said goodbye.

Remember me
once in a while -
please promise me
you’ll try.

When you find that, once again,
you long to take your heart back and be free -
if you ever find a moment,
spare a thought for me

We never said
our love was evergreen,
or as unchanging as the sea -
but if you can still remember
stop and think of me . . .

Think of all the things we’ve shared and seen -
don’t think about the things which might have been . . .

Think of me,
think of me waking,
silent and resigned.

Imagine me,
trying too hard
to put you from my mind.

Recall those days
look back on all those times,
think of the things we’ll never do -
there will never be a day,
when I won’t think of you . . .

Are you out of tune now?

piano

Always…. once in a while… all of a sudden… out of nowhere…

I want to play the piano.

I really want my piano back, but my place has no room for it…

That’s why it has to stay in my uncle’s home…

Chap has been talking about getting me a digital one,

but no matter how good a digital one is,

it still can’t be compared with a traditional one (IMO).

The feeling is different. Your fingers feel the difference…
It’s like using a laptop keyboard after using a desktop one for a long time,

except that these keyboards can provide the same result,

which is not the case for pianos.

P.S.

Don’t be mistaken by the picture. My piano is not a grand one. :(

Wondering what kind of symphony they could play

Knockman Family Knockman

Colon Pololon

Kerotama Cha Cha

Saw them with Chap at Urban Outfitter yesterday.

Each of them makes a different sound, and

the whole set forms an “orchestra”.

Aren’t they cute?!

Too bad that they cost Cad$24 each,

or I would buy them all home.

Note:

Their website mentioned a Knockman Picture Book, and

its Chinese version just came out.

Does anyone know if it is good?

“I’m cute” song by Dot

Another Animaniacs song that I like.

I mentioned it before in my post about the “all the country names song”.

It also kinda matches with the topic of my last post, too.

Anyway, I highly recommend you pay attention to the lyrics.

All country names in one song

I didn’t understand why Chap liked Animaniacs until I heard their songs.

“Yakko’s World” is one of my favourites.

Lyrics of “The Sense”, “Be Careful Of What You Eat”, and “I’m cute” are very funny.

“SCHNITZELBANK” is …… funny, too.

Actually, every song is funny.

Nevertheless, I still dun like the characters in Animaniacs very much.

Yakko, Wakko and Dot look like fake Mickey Mouse to me.

What do you think?

I’m so freaking outdated in Chinese songs.

jun_07.gif

Not sure why I’ve lost interest in Chinese songs for quite some time, and

I haven’t really sung karaoke for a long long time.

I used to love going to karaoke…… just to sing k…… not drinking at all……

but in the last two years, I seldom went to karaoke;

and when I did, I didn’t get to sing much —

because the people I went there with either went there just to get drunk (so it was too noisy to sing there), or couldn’t read Chinese (so I sung English songs with them).

I wonder when I would have the time to pick up this old interest again — listen more to Chinese songs and sing more k.
